É com esta frase retirada do "Opus Nocturne", que inicio este post. Um som profundo e introspectivo... são poucas as palavras que podem ser retiradas da mente para definir este projeto de funeral doom de Minnesota. O som é trabalhado de uma maneira ímpar: o jogo de musicalidade com os elementos naturais, a equalização vocal com os tons de uma natureza banida pelo homem moderno. É interessante trazer a tona a percepção de um ambiente esquecido no intimo da mente e a construção de uma concepção de atmosfera sombria a partir da orquestra que embala o funeral dos ouvidos profanados por esta obra. Esta brilhante peça de condenação traz um ambiente envolto de uma carga sinestésica, o que faz reportar a uma nova perspectiva de vazio, voltando o ouvinte para um vasto ambiente, com infindáveis elementos, com infindáveis visões alem de um horizonte gélido, deserto, sem luz. 

Um excelente trabalho dentro do Funeral Doom. Muito bem trabalhado; os tons de guitarra conjuntos com as mórbidas batidas da percussão (que lembram muito o Earth. Projeto de funeral doom dos Estados Unidos) fazem deste trabalho algo completamente recomendado. Akhlys - Supplication (2009)

Diria que será uma experiência decadente ouvir estes sussurros vindos de terras norte-americanas, que trazem esta preciosa peça de aborto aos nossos instintos de penitência. Sinos apocalípticos dão inicio a este ritual de encantamento contínuo e minimalista, que faz lembrar traços do Thee Sounds ov Decay no CD "Toward The Endless Dark Seas", um outro projeto de Drone Doom do Chile, que traz em suas faixas um som levemente atmosférico, inserido na linhagem do Drone. 

Inseridos no trabalho Supplication do projeto Akhlys, é interessante observar o desenvolvimento do som e como os sussurros se tornam ainda mais claros e presentes nesta gravação, sendo estes inseridos um no outro como em um culto ao obscuro. O ambiente torna-se cada vez mais envolvente e funesto de uma maneira experimentalmente doentia, o que faz reportar a uma outra dimensão de sonoridade. Os sons ambientais deste enclausuro negro configuram um Dark/Drone Atmosferic psicótico. Para os admiradores desta linha de som, torna-se essencial trazer seus sentidos para esta atmosfera vazia.

Apocalyptic bells start to give this ritual incantation continuous and minimalist, that sounds like Thee Soundsov Decay project, in CD "Toward The Endless Dark Seas", another Drone Doom project from Chile, that brings in his tracks a sound slightly atmospheric , inserted in the line of the Drone.
